is a publication that documents the collaboration between Naan Rijks, Lucila Kenny and different species of plants they have been cultivating in Amsterdam to learn more about colour,,,and about life.

Naan started growing dye plants in 2011 and Lucila joined her in 2017.

This book documents their collaboration through: conversations, photographs of their artworks, their studio, gardening activities, and recipes to share their knowledge and inspire curiosity.

Designed & Published in 2024 by Alex Walker as part of his project 'Mumbling Matter'.

Barbara Collé has transcribed hours of conversations between all of us highlighting the most meaningful reflections and understandings in a beautiful way through these dialogues.

Covers are silkscreen printed together with Brent Dahl using plant based paint.

This book is printed in a limited run of 200 copies.
